My husband calls me Hummingbird because I am hyper - I suppose - and I eat a lot. It started before I would date him when he was trying to catch me; he said one day I would have to land. Now five children and a little over a decade later, I have. But still only for moments.
I’ve been a photographer for over 20 years. I started with film and in the darkroom. There are so many things inherent in film - an honesty that comes with the limits of it. That honesty is what I value in photography. We can tell any story we choose, and there’s no doubt that it’s based on truth because it had to happen to be photographed.

I own the entire creative photographic process from beginning to end. I don’t just photograph and edit the images, I print them here in my home. I have my hands on every step of this process.
